[s-cars] V8 Torsen rear

Mark,

Nothing mysterious here. Just remove the entire diff and housing together
and replace with the V8 diff and housing. It's been a while, but I did have
the great fortune of doing the job twice in two weeks so I'll try to give
you a few tips.

The job is not difficult but does involve some lifting. I unbolted all
three driveshafts, but did not remove them from the car. It helps to loosen
the subframe a bit and back the nuts off to the ends of the studs; it is not
necessary to remove the subframe but dropping it this half inch gives a bit
more clearance. To get the diff out, unbolt the cross bar at the front, and
rotate the front downward until you can lift the rear off the mount.
Clearance against the gas tank is tight. Once out, you will see that the
case is almost identical to the V8 case. Bolt the V8 case into the car and
change the oil. If you are like me (hopefully you are not) this would be
the point where all the teeth from the worm gears will fall out into the
pan. On second thought, maybe you should drain the oil on the donor diff
before you even start - lol. The final step (for me only) is to repeat the
process the following weekend with a second V8 diff.

Not sure about the locker - I thought the center diff in the V8 was
torsen????
