Ron,

As you know, I do not blame you for the condition of the diff at all.  I did
drive  the "toothless tiger" for a week while waiting for a replacement, and
the diff was quiet and worked well.  If I hadn't changed the oil, I may
never have known.

It was an unfortunate situation to be sure, but there is no villain in this
story.  Things happen.
