 I wasn't going to say who sold Tom the diff but it
was me :( 
 The short story on the diff was & is, I usta own the
car in question I sold it to a friend who owned it for
2 years &
 at a stop sighn some girl wasn't paying attention &
rear ended the pass side crumkpling the rear pannel &
seperating the fram from the sheet meatal!
 So what I was thinking was that the tow guy used a
sling instead of flat bedding it & tore the diff up. I
did ask the guy if he used a flat bed & he saied "YES"
but I think he wasn't telling the truth. I did open
the case up & drained about 1/2 a quart cause I was
still not sure how the car was towed? The oil didn't
smell burnt or look discolored in any way. So I closed
it back up & sold it Bob Rossato. The diff was
intended for Paul K. But as the Angles were looking
out for him Tom bought it & you all know the rest. But
I've sold 3 or 4 torsen diffs to others & no one has
had any problems with them :)
 So what happened to this one? The car only had 120K &
like I saied I owned & drove this car for a while
before I sold it so I KNOW the diff was intact. It
musta happened when some tow truck driver used a sling
instead of a flat bed!

 & no one felt worse than ME!! & I did refund Tom's
money at this past S-fest. 
 Hope this clears a few things up.
