[s-cars] CD stuck between magazine and changer

My unit recently went silent. It was popping if turned to quickly, and then  
stopped working all together. The unit has power, will load the cartridge,  
and will show on the radio head as "CD-00" but will not play.
Any ideas what I can do to restore its function?
