This happened to me too, but it was the T-valve where the coolant sensor
sits in. I tried a temporary fix and it didn't last long as there was
not enough of the plastic tube for the hose to grip to and since the
barb was missing, there is nothing stopping the hose from slipping off.
Pretty much what Varon said.
I doubt your coolant pressure is any different than what its supposed to
be.
