[s-cars] Rear brake saga - will the questions *never* end?

Ordered all the parts required (I hope). E-brake cables, calipers,
pads, fluid, braided flexible lines. If the cables look good when I
take them off, I won't change them out - just spray a little lubricant
into the housings to keep them moving properly.. Then looked at
Bentley to print out the official "how-to." Hmmm, what's this about
changing the bolts out? The bolts that hold the caliper onto the
carrier are one-use-only? Tell me it ain't so.

Penetrating spray for loosening fittings...got recommendations on brand?

Normally when I put stuff back together, I put a little anti-seize
copper-based grease on the threads of the bolt or stud. Or just
regular grease, if the anti-seize is "hiding" on my workbench.
Necessary, nice, or "don't do that, fool"?

As a chemist, I have plenty of access to solvents. When I degrease
the rotors, I plan to use a nice little metal pan for dunking the
rotors, plus a squirt bottle to get the remaining stuff off. Good
enough, or needs more attention?

I recognize that I'm being a bit anal about the whole thing, but I
figure it's better to be too careful than not careful enough.
Especially when it's about brakes. A little extra time doesn't mean
that much - I'm not getting paid by the hour. :) But screwing
something up could lead to, at best, bent sheet metal. And that's
something I absolutely cannot fix on my own.

Thanks for the patience,

Eric
