Sounds like the Bose in my 200Q, especially if you include a high
pitched whine. Sounds like a Bose capacitor issue. My 200's Bose
has ALL of the mentioned symptoms. The thud when turning on or
off, the high pitched whine and the Rice Krispies sound when making
any adjustments of the unit, and sometimes at any time at all.
Gotta fix that.
