[s-cars] Toyo Tires - T1-R or T1-S

Well, FWIW, I have a 3300 (at most) lb Saabaru 9-2X Aero (essentially a WRX
wagon) which saw a grand total of 3 (competitive, especially considering
street tires) autocrosses of about 40 second duration, generally 6 runs per
event. Tire wear was even, so toe issues etc not an issue. The tire,
Bridgestone RE011, UTG 140. The tires were evenly (a bit of cupping) toast
at 7000 miles. These aren't even close to the performance of Falken RT615's.
And FWIW, when I used to autocross on street tires with my then new '85 GTi
(Pirelli P600's, Eagle GT's, UTG 180) at all of 2200 lbs (on the scales), I
used to get all of about 8000 to 10,000 miles on a set although that car saw
full seasons. Problem of treadwear was fixed by going to dedicated Auto-X
and track tires, rather than trying to use street tires on the track. So,
IMHO, 8K miles out of the Falkens is hardly anything to complain about.
