BFG g-force T/A KDWS. i have them on my UrS4. best all-seasons i've used.
i've had the BFG comp T/A VR4s before and these are definitely better on
pavement. in the snow, i don't know - it's been years since i had the VR4s
and that was on a different car. but the g-force KDWS provided enough
traction for me to drive up an unplowed hill in new snow that was so deep
it came up to the bumper. i made a bunch of trips to tahoe last winter
on those tires, enough to get a pretty good idea of their performance in
the snow, and i'm happy with them. and when i come home to the SF bay area,
the tires provide plenty of fun on freeway ramps.
the biturbo S4 avant has contisportcontact tires, and i find their dry
performance lacking compared to the BFGs. i haven't tried them in snow,
but they're not M+S rated. when they wear out, they'll get replaced
with BFGs.
