You can also buy the exact same pump by Bosch part # 0 392 020 054.  This
number appears on the OEM pump in addition to the VAG # 034 965 561 C.

My local import shop got me a non-VAG-branded Bosch pump for around $100.
It is identical to the OEM pump except for lack of the VW/Audi logo & part
