[s-cars] Engine dying after switch to 1.8T Coils

John,

Can't remember if you said you attempted to pull codes? If so, were there any?

My experiences with AAN's dying resulted in two different solutions.
The first was related to a bad EPROM after doing an MTM 1+ upgrade.
The codes pointed to a failed cam position sensor, but fortunately an
inquisitive mechanic noticed that thumping on the CPU case would cause
the engine to die if it was running.

A year later I actually succumbed to the failed CPS.

Now I have an intermittent miss that is driving me crazy.

Never an end to the fun.
