[s-cars] Dead Cylinder Problem found - thanks/need 034 1.8t kit

Gentlemen,

Thanks to all that replied in my time of need.  I know there are sources 
out there that may or may not have my problem listed.  I was (actually 
still am) in a pickle and was searching for information frantically.  
Your courteous help is greatly appreciated.  So, sorry for the posts to 
the list before I did all the research but I really needed help.  This 
car is my daily driver.

So...I have two dead coils (1 & 4).  I checked the coils with the spark 
plug in the coil method (and used two new POS's).

With the cost of two new coils ($125 each) I would like to go with the 
034 1.8T coil packs.  Unfortunately 034 will not have any available for 
two weeks.

If anyone has one of these kits and has not yet installed it, I would be 
most grateful to buy it for say $50 over cost.  Then have a kit ordered 
for you when the parts come in at 034.

I am also in the market for coils should I not get an offer on a kit.  
One lister graciously offered a new coil to me for a great price.  I 
will likely get that one and need one more.  Is $125 about the best 
price I can expect for a new coil?

Thanks again folks.  This new-to-the-AAN Audi guy will someday 
contribute to this list (long time 20v lister).  Right now I am sucking 
it dry.  ;-)
