Yes, the STi does have a water sprayer for the intercooler. However in stock
form it is an external spray, which is of limited use.
I would actually convert to an internal water injection setup, that will
yield a much greater intake temp drop.
Also, as I said in another post, the water tank is pretty small- only 2 or 3
liters, the Spec-C giant tank will be much more useful for trackdays, esp.
if you implement the full Spec-C setup that automatically sprays according
to injector duty cycle (IIRC). With factory electronics and a conversion to
water injection, you can have a really sano setup.
