to raise it's head under high boost conditions rather than low boost,
light throttle situations, where I am having my problems.  That is not
to rule out a coil malfunction, but to diagnose the coils, as you so
well pointed out, I need to find a donor coil pack and swap it, or
simply buy new coils.

Option one is perhaps doable if I can convince someone locally to help
me out, but option two is not financially feasible for me to conduct
as an experiment.  Hence the "thought experiment" technique that I am
soliciting participation in here on the list.
