Baloney,
Pizzo has confirmed that you are indeed a fun date. He apologizes for
the lingering 'smell' in Miss Piggy from last year's //SFest. Anyone
ever see that Seinfeld with the Valet with BO? :-)
See you in 37 days.
Later,
Jim

Subject: [s-cars] Intake Input
Folk's
FINALLY got to install a new crankcase pressure valve and oil catch can
over the weekend.
Turns out my old pressure valve had a leak on the top seal which was
spewing oil and rustproofing the intake side of the motor.
In reviewing some I-5 motronic info last night (am I a fun date or
what?) it appears that the crankcase vent come out of the block, goes to
some T connection where one direction sends it to the pressure valve and
towards the back of the motor and (normally) through the valve cover and
back to the intake by the turbo. The other direction of the T goes
through something (I
think) called a non return valve where it joins fuel tank vapors and is
fed directly into the bottom (and generally not able to be seen) of the
intake manifold.
I think I would like to replace this so called return valve but wonder:
part number, how hard it is to remove, and if anyone knows anything
about this secret input to the combustion system? Any problems ever
with this thing?
Sorry don't recall ever hearing about this.
Any info is much appreciated.
