If the STi and Evo wings are silly, then I guess the GT3 wing is not?
Especially on the 997 GT3RS, it looks like one
of those aftermarket APC wings, just with a carbon blade. They all make real
downforce, BTW. As does the "silly" carbon
lip of a STi V-Limited/S203/S204.
And the really garish graphics on a GT3RS- on a Japanese car, it would be
called rice.
I guess I don't place as much emphasis on styling or dash-stroking. Dollar
for dollar, I'll take a C6 Z06 over
a well-equipped Cayman S, although the Cayman has a much nicer interior and
looks better. :-)
I hope we can see what state of tune the Evo is in this year- not stuck in
some cornfield somewhere.
