[s-cars] Harmonic Balancer Failure pics

Question for anyone who has had the crank pulley off recently:

Is the key in the pulley supposed to line up with the timing notch on the
outer edge?

I was hoping to find a sheared key in the pulley, but that is not the case.
However, the notch in the outer edge is a couple degrees off of being in
align with the key.

The pink pointer is resting in the notch.

Before everything was apart with the cam aligned to TDC, the crank pulley
was off by the same 2-3 deg.

Maybe the two pieces have separated?

Any and all thoughts appreciated as always
