Thanks Ron!  Thanks to Tom Green too and everyone
else... I love this list.  My spirits have been lifted
from yesterday. 

Yesterday I was concerned because I was told that the
procedure would cost $600 at a local Audi mechanic,
half in parts, half labor.

Now I just need to work up the nerve to get into it.

Ron, let me know if you wind up with a spare cps.  I
hope you are able to sort out your problems with your
no start condition.  Of course I'd like to work on my
car now, but I can wait awhile if I can buy cps from
you and save some money over a $200+ part.
