Me too, Mark.  This was a TB job after several others over the 
years.  The key is an integral part of the pulley, not a separate 
piece.  The remnant of the key literally fell off into my hand.  The 
pulley is made of scintered powdered metal and is not all that 
physically strong.  Luck?  Maybe.  Or maybe the pulleys are different 
material on your MC.  IMHO, the $45 or so added cost is well worth the price.
