[s-cars] T-belt and RS2 R&R - What else while I'm in there?

Bob, agreed that the $45 expense is worth it and provides some measure of
insurance but no guarantee given the pig iron used here. It appears that my
memory is failing me. Is it the cam that has a crescent shaped groove
machined for a separate key (also crescent shaped) that then locks to the
sprocket or am I going back to the crank pulley on my 5KTQ? Sigh...
Regards,
Mark

Me too, Mark. This was a TB job after several others over the
years. The key is an integral part of the pulley, not a separate
piece. The remnant of the key literally fell off into my hand. The
pulley is made of scintered powdered metal and is not all that
physically strong. Luck? Maybe. Or maybe the pulleys are different
material on your MC. IMHO, the $45 or so added cost is well worth the
price.
