This could be the usual fuel pump problem that most Urs cars have after
100k miles. The fix is to replace the fuel pump in the tank. There are
several write-ups on this pump replacement. I was able to fix such a
problem by running a can of B&G 44K ($23 at NAPA), through the gas tank
with 15 gal. of gas. The check valve in the tank becomes gummed and
allows gas to drain back to the tank each time you shut off the engine.
You then have to crank a while to fill the line. I put a fuel pressure
gauge on the fuel rail so that I could see when the pressure is down.
The B&G so far has fixed the problem.
