LOL.  Hey, come on now - fast cars, fast women - fun times for all.

Now, all kidding aside - your Treadstone FMIC didn't actually *need*
welding - silicone sleeves could have been used at the metal joins,
right?  Welding is great, and eliminates potenital leaks, but if I can
plumb the thing and pressurize just the FMIC set-up to 40 PSI, and it
holds, then it's only a matter of checking the clamps and sleeves
every so often, right?

BTW, found RotellaT at WallyWorld.  $14.67/gallon.
