No.  I didn't weld directly to the IC end tanks like they did.  I  used 45 
degree connectors right off the end tanks.  I also put one "hump  hose" between 
the turbo and IC plumbing to allow flex for when the engine  moves... you 
know, like when you unload the clutch to explode your rear  diff.
