[s-cars] Hardwired V1

Taka,

the mirror options I have seen were only for the remote display, which
I am happy installed in the IC.

I have thought about trying to hide it behind the mirror, but my
research has shown that signals from the rear would be harder to
receive.

My current concept hit me when I was at Autozone. They had a digital
compass enclosed in a plastic body that would stick to your headliner.
I am planning to build something similiar and mount it above the mirror
right up to the headliner. It would have a functional compass in it as
well as controls for my garage door opener. It would also just happen
to hide the V1, all except the laser antenna.

After seeing what others have done in building speaker enclosures, I am
sure I can use the same construction techniques to build this, then
paint it to match the interior trim so it looks like it's suppose to be
there.

Any Thoughts on this?

Chris
