LOL, well keep in mind I live in Michigan not Canada.

But as the Canadian cop said, having a radar detector in the car,
even if it's OFF violates their law and the seize it.

Hence the reason I want to have it hidden, for when I venture through
areas that outlaw radar detectors. That and it makes it harder to steal
what you can't see.

When they outlaw radar detectors, only outlaws will own radar
detectors!
They can have my radar detector when they pry it out of my cold dead
hands, that or when they pull me over and threaten to arrest me if I 
dont hand it over! :-)
