Considering during my custom MRC chip install Mihnea himself turned
down my WG spring 3 turns, how much can I gain by having a different
spring? I'm already on the edge of detonation with 93 octane Mobil (better
with Shell, Sunoco) and that's after backing the spring off (as directed
by MRC himself). I'm just curious, just like Posto, how carefully this
mod has been evaluated. I did the Charlie spring on my 89' 10VT, but
most of the actual boost came from the ECU, the spring just improved
response. Is this similar, or does it modify peak boost also? Just want
to know what has been checked out. Food for thought, even if it IS only
over $40.
