Hap,

I think I get the idea now; we’re talkin’ flow.   The more I think about the
crazy “this way n that way” intake geometry and pistons going up n down, I
think perhaps there’s something to this rotary engine gizmo if flow is what
you want.

Maybe MLP ain’t so crazy afterall?  Who’d a thunk it?

I could go on for a long discourse on your question but I'll try to keep it
short. The no longer living Jim Latour of TEC fame gave me some insight
here. Flow is what gives you the powah. Boost is a matter of inefficiency
within the internal combustion engine. If you had a 100% efficient engine
you could approach zero boost with unlimited flow and a welded shut WG.
Don't necessarily associate more boost with more power. Its much more
complicated than that. 

I'm going to be running my new stroker at about 21 lbs of boost and should
be good for 450hp ATW. You do the math;-)
