Hey Paul,

Good time of year for tire lust! I had a set of these so I'll give a
brief review. They are very close to an all out race tire IMO. I auto-xed on
them a few times and it actually took a run or 2 to get heat in them. That being
said they are almost always too cold to have max grip on the street. At 60
degrees and below they are like glass. They work well in the rain for the
first month or 2 of their lives after that not so good. I know you are looking
for performance above all else but in case someone else is thinking about these
I'll give the more mundane details. They get very very noisy after a few
miles and flat spot badly overnight. As you can tell I didn't really like them a
whole lot but they are very grippy (when warmed up) and good bang for the
buck. I switched to the Falken ziex 512s and am very happy. Not as much all out
grip in the heat but much quieter, better in the rain and way better grip
when cold or in cooler temps. If you are doing a lot of straight line/
highway driving and some back road fun I would go with something else but if you
are just looking for max grip for the money they might be perfect for you.

In the Baloney spirit of "let's mount up street rubber while it's still
winter and see what happens", I figure it's time to find a replacement
set of streeties.

Anyone have good sources for CUMho MX's? Last season I'd called around
everywhere and they were pretty tough to find in a 255 (maybe they're
discontinued?). Ended up buying Pizzo's 2x trackers and used what was
left of them.

IfThoughtlessness appreciated and expected. TIA!
