Are you running the stock Bose amps and speakers off of the Alpine head unit?
That might explain the problem.

I had replaced my head unit a while back with an Alpine CD unit
and I was getting these nasty "pops" from the speakers anytime I switched
radio stations or tracks on a CD.. Since the Alpine had "zero-bit mute",
which essentially mutes out the outputs during these conditions, I thought
it was the head unit to blame.
I've since gone to a JVC unit over the weekend and the pops are
still there!!
Has anyone been able to track down the root cause of this? Does anyone know
of a way to fix this short of ripping out the stock amps and speakers and
running fresh wires/speakers?
