Interesting... my 10psi point is about 3100rpm with the 30R and a .82  
housing (at altitude).  At WOT, I don't get any surge, but when I cut it  back to 
part throttle, that's where it is a little unhappy.
 
It will be interesting to see how Hap's works with the increased  
displacement.  Hopefully, the engine will be operating at a flow rate a bit  more 
compatible with the 35R's map.  I still have my doubts, and think that  for high 
boost/low rpm, the 30R may still be better suited to the task.
 
Utimately, for a street vehicle, I'm interested in a combination that  yields 
no surge under any circumstances... WOT, part throttle... etc.  The  30R is a 
slight stretch for 2.2 liters, but the 3071 doesn't flow enough air for  high 
output at high rpm.
 
Anyway... look forward to seeing your test results.  I may try and  stop in 
and watch.
