Ron,

Well you've thrown a couple more variables into the mix.
I recommend checking for fuel pressure and then confirm your
ignition system is working.

Fuel pressure check can be done by attaching a FP gauge on the
fuel rail. Alternately you could easily check and see if the plugs
are getting wet from fuel.

For the ignition I would pull the coil pack off, flip it over, and
use a spark plug tester to confirm there is a strong spark for each
cylinder.
