[s-cars] timing chain

Loose timing chains are very easy to diagnose. They usually make a rattling
noise at mid-low rpm (around 2.8Krpm on the 7A, I don't know if the
resonance rpm is the same on the AAN). And I've never heard of a broken
timing chain. Besides, a loose timing chain won't affect the valve timing so
it can wait for the next timing belt job if you discover it in between. And,
at 180Krpm, I'm still waiting to hear the slightest rattling noise from the
chain (On a 7A, it would come MUCH sooner).
As Dave said the part is cheap, but it's just another opportunity to fucked
it up and end with the piston-kissing-valves nightmare.
So my wisdom would be: Don't fix it if it ain't broken.
Vincent.

Hey all,
What is the wisdom regarding timing CHAIN replacement during a 130Kmi timing
BELT job?
Cheers
Aaron
