[s-cars] : Maybe I missed it, but is this a good deal/good product?

This is the manifold I used on Haps car it’s a pretty nice piece but
something to be aware of is that it puts the turbo inlet about 4 inches
in front of the headlight making it almost impossible to put a hose on
it. With Haps car it was easier since we have no MAF I just have a HKS
mushroom filter on the end of the turbo. As far as longevity we don't
know yet....but it seems to be doing okay... If you are doing a AAN
project in a coupe or a 90 it should work fine.

Bruce,
Yes, that is a great product, but not exactly comparable to the RS2.
The thing is, you will need to remove the airbox, make custom turbo
plumbing (all lines and pipes, including exhaust) and to really take
advantage you will want a big (Garrett most likely) turbo. With the RS2
exhaust manifold, you have a direct replacement for the stock manifold.
So, if you want 500hp and will be doing lots of fabrication anyway, go
for it. You won't find another comparable header for a price that low.
It is just the $3k that you will have to spend on the other parts to
make it work that will hurt.
