[s-cars] New sensor still got codes

034 vs do it your self coil modification
Iain -
How plug and play in the 034 coil kit. At 355$ it seems like a pretty good
deal. Did you compare costs to wiring something up yourself?
Is it truly plug and play?
Are you running the coil cover?
Ive been experiencing some slight hesitation and am considering this mod.
Thanks
Aaron

Markus

i would say you are right, i had a high boost misfire which may have been
upsetting the sensors, i have now replaced both sensors down there and still
had the code as i earlier reported. However what seems to have cured the
problem is the 034 efi 1.8T coil conversion, it's been fitted now for 48hrs
and rigouresly tested (down to 18mpg on the trip computer ahem) not a miss
at all.
