OK thanks for your input Ivan. I think I will heed that advice and replace
them.

Is Lobro (sp?) OE for the boots. I don't want to get some made in China,
ill fitting boots.

Regards,

Mark

Mark,

Those cork gaskets pretty cheap at whslparts.com (put OEM number to search).

I did replace them as old ones were semi-permanently attached to
axle/flange.

G'day:

I need to do my right side flange seal as it is weeping pretty badly. I am
going to probably do the left side as well while things are in the air and I
am dirty. I am also considering replacing the outer CVJ boots as they are
original with 92K miles on them and well I'll be dirty. I have hub bearings
and.I'll be dirty. My main question is on the inner joint. When I pulled
the halfshafts on my departed 5KCSTQ, I did not replace the paper gasket
that sits between the flange and the CVJ with no adverse effect. What say
ye on the urS6?

Also, I have water in the passenger footwell. Not much but.Sunroof drains
are clear as well as the plenum drain. Evaporator drain? How do I clean
that bugger?

Regards,

Mark
