Thanks Fred,

My passenger door does in fact look a bit twisted in how it fits at the
rear of the door (clockwise twist when looking forward from the back of
the door). Not much, but just enough to be noticed. No obvious
dents/bends in the A pillar or door hinge mounting areas from previous
damage/accidents, paint looks untouched on the entire area. I haven't
checked to see if the bottom hinge is worn in the way you mention, but
its easy enough to check. Hard to imagine that this door hinge is worn
out while the driver's is not, but stranger things have happened... If
that's not the case, I might just try the ol' body shop guy approach
that was mentioned a few days back and see if the wood block between the
bottom edge of the door and frame with pressure at the top will allow
for some "untwist" in how it fits. Re-adjusting the striker plate did
nothing for door skin fit when fooling around with things yesterday. The
entire rear of the door moves in or out without changing the twist.

Thanks all,

-Randy
'95.5 S6 Avant - its green, that's gotta be part of the problem!
'91 200 20V Avant - bamboo, fast and dependable - so are the S4/S6's
really improvements?
'01 allroad - the wifes cruiser...great bun warmers though!
