Hey Phil!
IIRC Steve Young may be running the Stoptech setup on his super-sweet
Sedan.

Thanks for the posting as I have been interested in this setup, but too
lazy to search yet for Stroptech solution.
Also Alex Van Gerbig did tell me once it's a fine combination.
Can't comment on the aluminum bracket given recent rage on that item!
It's great to have an alternative to ECS or DIY.

I've been looking at the Stoptech BBK which uses 332 x 32 mm rotors
(Brembo rotors, and yes, the hats are aluminum...), 4-piston Stoptech
calipers, 944 pads, and aluminum (gasp!) brackets.
Stoptech doesn't permit their distributors to do group buys (!), but I
talked to Bill Spencer at Hartmann and they can offer a free iPod with a
Stoptech BBK purchase - and if you don't want the iPod you can sell it
back to them for $300.
The details of the kit can be found at Stoptech.com (of course) (click
on "Buy Now", to get the nitty gritty (you don't have to buy them)),
where you can also download a .pdf to verify wheel fitment (17" and up).
Red or black calipers and slotted rotors (83.109.4600.71) go for $1995,
so it would be $1695 if you sell Hartmann back the iPod. Plated rotors
to ameliorate that aluminum/steel galvanic bickering are available for
an add'l $70.
The Stoptech stuff looks pretty good - anyone have any experience with
them?
If want to buy call Bill at 425-895-0000 (they're in WA) & tell him
you're with the Ur group.
