gotta challenge that; we have yet to replace a 2.7 T turbo because it failed 
prematurely. We've had many,many. Audi does occasionally sell a car to a 
"fragile" owner who doesn't have the savvy the change the oil in a timely 
manner.
However, we have seen several six speed transmissions that were weak; we 
think it's largely due to aggressive shifting by youthful hot rods. 
generally they bang second gear from first thus bending the shift fork 
inside the gearbox. this has mostly been with S 4's that Dad bought for his 
kid and the kid and his friends, of course , are anxious to see what the car 
will do. But we have seen several.
