Paulie,

I hear ya about the time factor.

I get attached to these things, so I feel bad letting it go to the wrecker. I feel some strange sense of duty to try to keep it on the road. Then there are the expensive parts that I put in a few months ago that just kill me, new strut housing for 440 each, lower control arms 225 a piece, Bilsteins all round, links and other doodads, radiator....I'm getting a headache....Might be time to cut the cord and have a stiff drink.

There were about 2,640 brought to this side of the pond between 88-91.  I think that at the time, they cost more than an E30 M3 if you can believe that.

I liked those 2.3-16's as well as those E28 M5's.
