Gen III and later Stromung shouldn't have that nasty resonation, so you'd be
good to go.

When I had a Gen I Stromung, it sounded great, but the resonance between
2000-2800
rpm was so bad that I had to run at 85-90mph on the highway to have peace
and quiet.

I think a slightly taller top gear would be nice- but I don't really know if
you want to go
as tall as a 0.68 with a big turbo- you'd need to downshift to pass every
time.

What rpms does the S8 pull at 65/75/85 mph?
