[s-cars] Stromung in the rain

After many laps at Steamboat's ice/snow course, my Stomung is noticeably 
louder and I can really hear the turbo wind up. At first I thought I had 
lost the turbo because of how audible the noise was. After the lapping 
session is over and the entire system has a chance to cool down a bit, 
everything returns to normal. I can't figure out why this would happen other 
than the snow is contacting a portion of the downpipe and also the center 
"test pipe" area. Over the years I have heard others comment on this same 
phenomenon while driving in the rain. Why? Not sure, but no broken welds or 
hangers.
