[s-cars] Stromung in the rain - explained?

Increased humidity reduces sound attenuation. In other words, the more humid the air, the relatively louder things sound. So, the exhaust and turbo will tend to sound louder in the rain. We had this same discussion not too many years back and I believe I posted a link for a more detailed and eloquent explanation. Is there a physicist in the house?
