[s-cars] Wet floor killed my ECU?

I had a similar flooding incident about 18 months ago. I ended up removing
the entire carpet and drying it inside. After it dried I rented a steam
cleaner and cleaned it. The end result was a non-malodorous car and one or
two broken minor trim fasteners. Taking the carpet out is a PITA
(especially if you don't have a garage, and it's raining while you are doing
it -- buy a tarp!) but it is probably the best way to ensure that everything
is dry. There is a lot of wiring and stuff underneath the carpet, and it's
nice to know that there isn't any hidden water under there.

Oh yeah, if your carpet has never been removed, then there you either have
to pull the heater box or cut the carpet (non-visibly) around the cabin side
of the box. In my case, I discovered that I was not the first to remove the
carpet from my car...
