Hello Wylie,
You should really clear all the codes, drive the car for a day or so
(exercising the climate control), and then see which ones return.
>000525 Oxygen Sensor (03-10 no signal - intermittent)
Replace anyway - these need to be replaced every 60K(?) miles as they
get sluggish.
>00513 Engine speed sensor (03-00 no signal)
If you pull codes with the engine not running, you get this.
>footwell/defroster flap positioning motor - blocked or no voltage
>positioning motor for central flap - blocked or no voltage -
intermittent potentiometer
>positioning motor for air flow flap - open or short to +
Check on the diagnostic channel on the CC head:
08.5 Temperature Regulator Flap, static block
08.7 Temperature Regulator Flap, sporadic block
possibly other 08.x codes
11.5 Central Flap, static block
11.7 Central Flap, sporadic block
possibly other 11.x codes
13.5 Footwell/Defroster Flap, static block
13.7 Footwell/Defroster Flap, sporadic block
possibly other 13.x codes
It's worth chasing the central flap problem first. If this is bad, the
others won't work and will throw codes as well.
I think on my cars (1995 & 1996 S6) the air flow flap is not fitted -
I've just got the temp (ratio of hot to cold), central (controls ratio
of 'central vents' to 'footwell/defrost'), and footwell/defrost (ratio
of footwell to defrost).
I had to do quite a bit of work in this area on both my cars last year,
so I documented some of what I did. Have a look at:

It's quite a time consuming job, but you'll get there in the end!
