[s-cars] Brutal Review of the New S6

I've driven the S6 and the S8 on a press event in Montreal. I totally
disagree with Jeremy. I did not find "sharp" throttle response or bad
ride quality. What I found was a sedan that loves to be tossed,
accelerates with purpose, and has the nicest interior in the biz. Most
of my colleagues present concurred with my assessment.
It would be foolish for Audi to give the S cars the same level of
performance found in the Gallardo. Why spend the extra money? There
will be plenty of tuners, including software gurus like those found on
this List, to improve the already terrific level of performance in both
the S6 and S8.
I'm trying to get Johan de Nysschen, who gave an impassioned
presentation in Montreal, on my XM program in the next few weeks. I'll
send out a note to you all if it happens, and encourage you to call in
about anything Audi you'd like to vent/praise about.
