I've gotten behind on converting my S-car related magazine articles to
pdf's but I just purchased a Canon 4400F scanner on Saturday.  Its
great. Scans very quickly and converts them to multipage pdf's
semi-automatically (I get to say NEXT (page) and FINISH).  Anyway, I
must have done about 20 magazines since yesterday morning and now I am
keen on developing the hyperlinked story line.  I would appreciate
comments and/or corrections on the following:


The C4 S-car evolved from the first Audi all wheel drive Illtis through
the Audi 80 sedan quattro to the Audi Quattro 10 valve turbo coupe to
the S1 20 valve turbo rallye car to the Audi 5000S 10 valve turbo
Quattro sedan to the 1991 200 20 valve turbo sedan to the C4 S4 20valve
turbo.

In the beginning, there was the Illtis.

This begat the 4000 quattro sedan

Which begat the original Quattro coupe

Which begat the S1 coupe with a 20 valve turbo engine

And then the Audi 5000 CD I-5 fwd became the

Audi 5000 CS turbo fwd Sedan which

Became the Audi 5000S turbo Quattro

Which eventually became the Audi 200 20 valve turbo Quattro

Which became the C4 Audi S4 20 valve turbo Quattro sedan

Which later became the C4 Audi S6 20 valve turbo sedan

Along the way the Quattro turbo coupe received a 20 valve turbo engine

And the coupe Quattro received the 20 valve turbo engine as the S2

The S2 morphed into S2 sedans and S2 avants

The S2 avants were worked over by Porsche and became the RS2

The engine upgrades from the RS2 then became the initial "must have"
goodies for the C4 S-car

Subsequently other turbo options have evolved to the point that...
