[s-cars] x plug troubles

OK,
so when I was swapping the xplug I took the spring
bellow it out so I could wipe down the threads - while
doing so the cap on the spring popped out - and is now
lost forever - vanished.
Gave up after 30 minutes of looking. Replaced the plug
with out the spring cap. Now the brake light stays
on... so where can I find this part. Anyone have a
crippled pump lying arround that they'd be willing to
break open?
