[s-cars] CV Boot Recommendation

Brian:

The outer fronts are quite easy to do. No need for a press. Once the axle is 
out of the car and in a vice, thread the axle bolt into the CV joint until it 
bottoms out against the shaft, keep tightening with an impact wrench and the 
joint will pop off.

Cut the boot off with a razor knife and gently tap it with a rubber mallet or 
deadblow hammer and the joint will come all the way off. Make sure you note 
the orientation of the clip, dished washer and other thrust washer.

Clean joint, slide new boot on, washers and clip, grease with moly as per 
Bentley and tap back on. Use special crimping tool (or end nippers) to tighten 
clamps.

Re-install on car.

The outers can actually be done on the car without removing the inboard side, 
but its a bit more awkward.
