Yeah I am IMpatiently waiting for a reasonable TDI from Audi.
Where as a V12 Q7 is a great marketing project and gets you write-ups
with the Car mags, it's
Freakin' excessive. Total ownership cost will be high for the
mainstream buyers.
Audi could clean up nicely with the R10 notoriety and a V8 TDI for
C-sakes.
I am really curious to see how this S car list matures and more and more
guys sell out of the C4 chassis
And index on to what?
At S Fest I heard a lot of talk about P cars and Bimmers.
Whattaya think about Porsche Cayennes?
Thanks for the link Taka>

I don't know if this is silly, but they don't offer a reasonable TDI car
in the States, which is a real shame, but they develop stuff like this.
With BMW coming out with diesels in the near future, not having anything
to compare is going to hurt Audi.
In a few years, when the V70R gets retired, it would be nice to be able
to find a selection of turbodiesel AWD wagons with enough power to make
them fun to drive, with a better dynamic than the rather sloppy Volvo.
Something sized about the size of the new Passat wagon (in between A4
Avant and A6 Avant sizes), with about 300hp, quattro (no Haldex, at
least not the way it's implemented now), good gas mileage, awesome
interior and exterior and most importantly, good service."
