Exactly, Jeff-
I don't know what to move on to- the logical progression in the Audi lineup
would
be to get a C5 chassis A6 2.7T 6-speed.

Since BMW is pretty much the only company to offer a mid-sized car with a
manual
transmission and high performance (albeit in RWD form only), there really
isn't
much other choice.

The Volvos are not dynamically very good, I'm wondering if the next
generation R will
fix that- they keep getting better. I just hope they don't get any heavier
and that the next
generation will have an automatic that won't blow up if you run full power
through it.

Mercedes is unbelievably unreliable now, so they're totally out. Otherwise,
the current
W211 E-Class is a very nice car. Even an E350 4Matic wagon wouldn't be all
that bad
if they figured out how to build them right.

The Q7 is way too big and Audi service is about as bad as it can be.
